Perfect complement to a running programme

I used the running buddy 'Loading Up' programme twice per week for 6 months leading up to the Dublin Marathon in Oct 2024.

I used the running buddy 'Loading Up' programme twice per week for 6 months leading up to the Dublin Marathon in Oct 2024, having struggled with several niggles that hampered mileage during a recent marathon effort.



I found the strength-work was an ideal supplement to my weekly running programme, and I successfully completed an injury-free training block for the Dublin Marathon with a spring in my step, achieving PBs across several distances in the process. The programme itself is not too taxing on time or the body, and I found that my legs had that extra bit of strength/resilience, in particular during speed sessions and the latter end of my long runs. Patrick is also very knowledgeable and responsive to queries. Thanks again Patrick!
