Amsterdam Marathon 2025

Running Buddy was an essential tool for me this year. In previous training blocks I’d struggled with picking up injuries, but Patrick’s gym programmes were a key part of staying injury free in the block leading up to Amsterdam.

Improved Running & Recovery

I have used the Running Buddy for 6 months and it has made a noticeable difference to my running performance and recovery. It has allowed me to add an expert-lead strength and conditioning element to my training without needing to get to a gym.

Less Fatigue & Faster Pace

I started using Running Buddy because I had been running for a few years but felt that I was stuck and wasn’t making any progress. I noticed such an improvement after the first few weeks of using the app. I feel much stronger now during my runs and have been able to increase my distances while keeping a faster pace.

Loved my time on running buddy so far. I joined for the starting line strength workouts and I’ve been really enjoying them. The progression is really good and they’re a good length and intensity, I never feel too worn out after but I’ve noticed extra strength and stability running and no injuries yet touch wood!

Have been using the Running Buddy app for several months as part of my preparation for the Paris Marathon and have found it to be incredible helpful. Workouts are short, effective and can be carried out at home or in the gym which is ideal for fitting into my schedule.

After a long injury layoff I took a years Running Buddy subscription in January to ensure that when I added S&C into my training plans I was doing the right work. Patricks plans and videos are clear to understand and simple to follow meaning they've slotted simply into my week allowing me to completed a consistent run of training for the last few months.

Effective and Efficient!

I signed up to Running Buddy when getting back into running after having a baby. I’m really enjoying it and find the sessions effective and efficient. You can get them done at home as needed, and scale them up to meet your level.

Strength training for runners made easy

Having come back to running and trained for a marathon I wanted to add in some strength work. I have been running off and on for 15 years and never managed to stick with any form of strength training to compliment it.

Delighted I joined Runningbuddy

I started using Runningbuddy after sustaining an injury. The platform is very user friendly. The exercise videos are clear and concise.

Really good

It is a very convenient app as all the workouts can be done at home..especially seems as I wouldn't really have time for gym. The app is very easy to use and follow and every exercise is shown in a video by Patrick.

Excellent App

I used the Running Buddy App for my preparation for the Cork City Marathon. It's easy to use and the workouts are excellent.

Fantastic experience and highly recommend Running Buddy App

I went to Patrick initially for a calf injury which we rehabed over the course of 6 weeks. Once I was back running and finished up my rehab I decided to sign up for the running Buddy app and this has been invaluable to me in building up to full running training again.

The Dublin Marathon was one of my strongest runs in the past 2-3 years!

With limited available time, strength training has been completely neglected for long periods. Running Buddy has completely changed this for me. The structured sessions are easy to fit into a busy daily schedule, the programmes are high quality and there is clear progression all through an app that is easy to use.

Perfect complement to a running programme

I used the running buddy 'Loading Up' programme twice per week for 6 months leading up to the Dublin Marathon in Oct 2024.

Clearly effective

I've been using Running Buddy for over a year. In the lead up to the Barcelona Marathon I consistently did two quality S&C sessions from the Loading Up programme every week.

Best Training Block I Have Had

I've been running for about 10 years, making slow progress over time, and encountering setbacks due to injuries. However, back in May, I made the decision to incorporate proper strength and conditioning into my training regimen by signing up for Running Buddy.

New Marathon PB and Less Aches and Pains

After my first sub 3:00 marathon in Dublin last year I noticed that I was picking up injuries when preparing for my most recent marathon.

I managed to stay injury free and get a 9 minute improvement on my previous marathon time!

I started using Running Buddy last summer with the Dublin City Marathon set as my target race. I knew I needed to add strength training into my race preparations but struggled to find the time to fit it in with my running.
